Tiree Pilgrimage Route
£5.00
The Tiree Pilgrimage Route links many places which have Christian and pre-Christian significance. Its purpose is not only to raise awareness of the island's religious heritage, it has the merit of introducing people to the island's rich natural environment which is abundant in bird and plant life. Tiree is a fairly flat island so walking is less arduous than in most Highland and island locations. The route is about 30 miles in length and Ordnance Survey and grid references are given for most features. Thanks are due to Argyll Estates and the Tiree crofting community for permission to establish the route. 38 pages.
